I cannot stop thinking about him?

Okay so there is this guy I have liked him the whole school year and I cannot stop thinking about him.He is just so amazing!!Whenever I am around him I feel so safe.Anyway I am always catching him staring at me,he is always making me laugh and even stood up for me when a bully was hitting me in the head,he literally tried to beat him up.There is a dance friday and I might go,but not with anyone.Do you think I should go if he mitt be there?Do you think he likes me too??Thanks
