Would this be a great movie idea?

That sound pretty good to me.Have the movie shot in black and white for a darker more intense style that emphasizes Thora Birch's nightmare world.I would put in Carmen Electra and Shakira as the eye candy and maybe Jason Statham as their protector who gets to kick as.s in the movie.Put in Static X, Mudvayne and Rage Against The Machine on the soundtrack and you have the basis for an excellent movie.
