Temperature effect on enzyme experiment?

You didn't say anything in your question about changing temperature during the experiment. uming that the temperature remained constant, the reason the iodine stopped turning black is because all of the starch was converted to glucose which does not react with iodine. Only the starch reacts with iodine. If the iodine no longer turns black, it must mean that there is NO MORE starch left.
