Who cares if Obama's a Muslim?

What does one's religion have to do with their capacity to govern or make decisions? Are atheists automatically unfit to be presidents? Or Buddhists? Isn't the Christian Bible also depict acts of violence like the Qu'ran (God orders Israel to pillage and slaughter other peoples, frequent wars, etc...)? Are all people of the world who aren't Christian automatically labeled as useless to you?
