You can stay in Junior College and then transfer, and then get the whole dorm experience then, and that would probably save you money. When you do apply, applications usually have a place for you to put any miscellaneous notes, and you should probably mention that you had to miss a semester of school due to illness and that is why your transcript shows F's for that semester.
