Do people who win superbowl tickets still have to purchase plane tickets? And the families f the players too?

Families are taken care of by the team. It's a benefit extended to players for making it to the game. As for winning a contest, it depends on the contest. If plane fare and such is included they advertise the contest as such. That makes it a better contest. Some do and some don't include it...
