Need help with Graphics card installation.?

Hello, I want to upgrade my computer graphics card and I don't have anything in the AGP slot, but I do have an HP, S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR in the PCI slot which came with the computer. Should I uninstall the S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR before I add a new graphics card or is it safe to keep it in there? Thanks in advance:)
