Ive had a cough for this whole week, and today im not able to take as deep breaths as I could yesterday?

I had a bad head cold last week, which ended on sunday night/ monday morning. But since saturday, I've had a cough that brings up mucus. I was thinking it is bronchitis, but my issue with breathing is confusing me as last time i had bronchitis, this didn't happen. It's not that I CAN'T breathe, but It is harder because i cant get as deeper a breath in as I used to.
