Ive had a cough for this whole week, and today im not able to take as deep breaths as I could yesterday?

I was thinking it is bronchitis, but my issue with breathing is confusing me as last time i had bronchitis, this didn't happen. I'm half Lebanese half Palestinian and I went to Algeria over the summer cos my uncle lives there. When I went there I saw Algerians who looked arab, white, black, brown, mixed race so in appearance I would say the people generally looked like a mix of Arab, Southern European, and Black. Being of Lebanese and Palestinian descent I can speak both Levantine Arabic and standard fus'ha Arabic. When I was talking to the Algerians I found it hard to understand their Arabic dialect so they spoke to me in fus'ha. Since all these things are the case in Algeria, I think I would encounter the same things in other North African countries like Morocco and Tunisia because there basically the same people. Since North Africans are generally mixed and there Arabic dialect is hard to understand for the typical Arab middle easterner (Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian etc) would you consider North Africans arabs?

8 yr old son with some bowel problems...?

This is something that I hoenstly don't want to discuss but I need some insight. My 8 yr old is always have poop marks (more than skid marks) in his boxers. It has come to the point that within the last 3 weeks I tell him several times a day to go take a shower and change his clothes b/c he smells of poop. When I was on Atkins, I had some type of eggs for breakfast. Omelets are filling and hard boiled eggs with a little er are good. Lunch was usually a salad with some type of meat and lo-carb dressing. Dinner was always meat and veggies. You just have to go by the book as far as food goes and mix and match. i found as in any diet you have to exercise to help loose the weight and once I stopped Atkins i gained most of the weight back. i adhere to the theory of Atkins- it makes perfect sense to me. yea sometimes we go thru a down or as i call it a "rest" in our life. Catholics, how have you come to terms with all the abuse?

I was raised in the Catholic tradition and as the saying goes, "once a Catholic, always a Catholic." I only go to church on obligation days because I sit in the pew highly suspect of the newest priest. I seem to (mostly)trust only the ones from foreign countries. Ok my 1989 Plymouth voyager is having problems when i press the gas..i have changed my fuel filter recentlly and just changed spark plugs and TPS..it still stalls if I press gas down to hard..i have to slowly press it to move steady..any ideas???.

I bought jeans yesterday that were American Carharts, but made in Mexico. I had to try on four jeans that all said 33, just to find two that fit. That's how far off the cutting and sewing is. DUDE, what's wrong with my 2001 Ford Focus ZX3?

Recently I've had a noticeable problem with my car....Every time I start the engine (only when its cold) it vibrates erratically. It does improve as it heats up, but I can still feel it shaking. I have replaced the spark plugs, and air filter, and I poured a bottle of fuel injector cleaner...the problem persists though. How do I deal with troublemaking staff?

I have a couple of directors.who are troublemakers. They have whipped up several other directors and they together have gone to my president making all kinds of allegations against me - 95% wrong. BTW, I supervise these directors. My president wants to moderate a session where they tell me face to face what they don't like about me. I have been very good to these folks (promotions, pay raises, budgets, professional development opps, participative management, very complimentary, etc.) and am stunned they have turned against me and like I said most of what they are claiming is flat-out not true. I want to be a professional in this "mediation" meeting - calm, collected, and a good listener, but I am very hurt. A few of them at least would like nothing better than to see me lose my cool. How should I face this mediation session? The format = 1) they talk, I listen; 2) I respond to what they said and then voice MY concerns; 3) We talk about how to move forward positively. A couple of these folks I thought were my right-hand people. Like I said, I am stunned? How should I approach this? I can tell by the way a couple are acting around me that they seem to feel guilty for what they did. I am at a loss.

lool, i think this guy likes you. he probably texts you to brag about himself, cause he thinks maybe you'll think he's a cool guy or smart or talented and start to like him. He claims that we are completely responsible because i had used the water hose to water the flowers i planted, however I was never told not to use the hose and it is directly beside my front door. It's horrible that the person (so-called-person) is not being held responsible but I certainly understand why you wouldn't want to go through the reporting process, trial, whatever. You are already in group and individual counseling which is what I would have recommended. It's compounded by the loss of your father. Are you not able to fully disclose your feelings in your counseling sessions? Maybe you need to see your doctor and get on some medication to help deal with the "post traumatic" part of it. It doesn't have to be forever but it can help in combination with your counseling sessions. It concerns me that it has been so long since the attack and you are not feeling better. I'm sure you have heard that it is not your fault and that you shouldn't be ashamed. You are the VICTIM! The fact that you can't get close to your boyfriend suggests that you need more counseling or a different kind of counseling. I think you need to talk to your doctor. Please talk to your doctor and if you don't feel helped by him or her, find another doctor to help you. At least medication can help you sleep at night. Not sleeping can mess up your whole world. Believe me. Maybe you need another counselor. And if you have built a relationship with this counselor, they will not take it personally if you have to change. Continental vs. qantas (question mainly pertaining to continental air international)?

economy travelers: we're flying from auckland new zealand to Los angeles and then beyond.. so we have a full day of travel with a 2 year old. we normally fly Vaustralia, but its a bit more expensive to fly from n.z. and not au... so my question is to those of you whom have used continental airlines internationally.. we know qantas and we like them, they serve booze for free, snacks often and have the good tv screens in the back of the seat.. we know virtually nothing about continental airlines international(ive only flown them domestic u.s.a.). its a long flight and its important that certain things make it easier on us.. do they serve free drinks(even just one with dinner) do they have individual entertainment screens in the seats, is the staff friendly, is the food edible, do they offer snacks and water often or do you have to ask constantly? these are my main concerns.... the price is only slightly cheaper to go with cont. but we'd like to try it if its good....however, wont risk it if we dont get feedback.

Of course...you should definitely have a private meeting with your boss. If something is bothering you at work, you have the right to speak your mind. Make sure you organize what you want to say before the meeting though so that way you dont speak irrationally or get upset/frustrated while youre speaking to her. You do have to remember that you will be approaching a touchy subject (her daughter) so make sure to tell your boss how shes making you feel w/o calling her names or making her look like some horrible demon (even if thats how you feel about her). Also let her know how your other coworkers are treating you and you dont think its right when all youre trying to do is do your job. Tell your boss that you understand her daughter is only 12 but you dont feel it sets a very good example to everyone else at your work if shes undermining you constantly...they pick up on her behavior and mimic it and thats not ok with you. Hopefully you have a nice boss who will understand where you are coming from and talk to her daughter and the other staff..if she doesnt, then do you really want to work for someone so unprofessional?
